According to detikJabar, the incident occurred on\nthe Saturday evening of 28 February, when the victim was spotted taking\nlabu siam from the garden tended by the offender. The suspect pursued\nthe victim to his home. After confrontation, Minta and Ujang argued.\nDuring the dispute, Ujang repeatedly punched the victim in various parts\nof the body \u2014 including the head, neck, face and chest \u2014 while demanding\nthe victim admit to the theft of the labu siam from his garden, police\nsaid. The assault stopped when the victim\u2019s sister and bystanders\nintervened. In a staggered condition after the beating, the victim\nadmitted to taking two labu siam. The elderly man, who sustained\nnumerous blows, was taken to hospital for intensive care. However, two\ndays later he died at Cianjur Hospital.
