Traffic to TMII getting worse<\/p>\n

The traffic on the tollway in front of the Beautiful Miniature
\nIndonesia Park (TMII), East Jakarta, is getting worse, especially
\nduring rush hours on weekdays and holidays.<\/p>\n
The traffic jams occur mostly due to the rapid development of
\nhousing complexes in Cipayung and Pondok Gede because most of the
\nresidents use the road to avoid the congestion along the Pondok
\nGede road.<\/p>\n
Before the housing complexes were built, the traffic on
\nweekdays was relatively smooth, except when there was an event at
\nTMII.<\/p>\n
Another cause of traffic jams is the bottleneck on the Hankam
\nhighway which is situated to the west of TMII. The width of the
\nTMII road is 15 meters, while the road on the Hankam highway is
\nonly five meters wide.<\/p>\n
The best way to solve this problem is to widen the Hankam
\nhighway to 15 meters. If the Jakarta Administration broadens the
\nstreet, the bottleneck would be eliminated.<\/p>\n
