        "content": "<p>The Head of the Indonesian National Police\u2019s Traffic Command\n(Kakorlantas), Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, revealed that 28% of\nvehicles have already left Jakarta on the fourth day of Operation\nKetupat 2026. Approximately 72% of the predicted 3.5 million vehicles\nremain to depart from the capital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the projected 3.5 million vehicles that will depart for\nTrans-Java routes, West Java, Cikupa in Banten, and Sumatra, currently\n28% have already left Jakarta. Therefore, we are still managing\napproximately 72% of the remaining traffic,\u201d stated Inspector General\nAgus during an inspection at KM 57 A on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road\non the evening of Monday, 16 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector General Agus explained that a national one-way system is\nexpected to be implemented on 18 March. The one-way measures will be\nenforced around 10:00 or 12:00, adjusted according to the volume of\ntraffic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe peak of the mudik exodus is estimated to occur on 18 March. So\non that date, between 10:00 and 12:00, we will implement the National\nOne-Way system for outbound traffic,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector General Agus also described various traffic management\nmeasures, including functional toll diversions at several locations to\nhelp distribute traffic flow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere will also be functional toll diversions on the South Japek\nroute. This is highly strategic for dispersing traffic during the return\njourney, so the routes from Sadang to Deltamas to Setu can be utilised.\nThis includes Bocimi, Parungkuda to Karangtengah, so the arterial road\nat Cibadak can be relieved of congestion,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis also includes the Solo-Jogja route, with diversions from\nProbolinggo to Besuki to Paiton, and from Semarang-Bawen to Ambarawa,\nwhich have already been activated,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Operation Ketupat 2026 is scheduled to run for two weeks, from 13 to\n25 March 2026, under the theme of \u201cSafe Mudik, Happy Family\u201d.<\/p>",
