        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) is\nimplementing traffic management around the Latumenten flyover in West\nJakarta due to the erection girder stage, i.e., lifting and installing\nprecast concrete girders as the main structural elements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe urge the public to adjust their travel times and to comply with\ntraffic signs and directions from officers on site,\u201d said Siti\nDinarwenny, Head of the Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) of the\nDKI Jakarta Department of Public Works (Dinas Bina Marga), speaking in\nJakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>She said that the erection girder work on the western side of\nLatumenten Road will take place 18-26 May 2026 from 22:00 to 04:00 WIB.\nMeanwhile, works on the eastern side of Makaliwe Raya are scheduled from\n29 May to 5 June 2026 during the same hours, 22:00-04:00 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>She noted that to support smooth operations and road user safety,\ntraffic management will be implemented on several streets during the\nworks.<\/p>\n<p>The traffic diversions on several streets, namely on the West side,\nfrom the South direction (Grogol flyover), from the East direction\n(Roxy) and from the West direction (Jalan Daan Mogot) toward the North\nfor heavy vehicles will be diverted via Jalan Daan Mogot-Jalan Pangeran\nTubagus Angke.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, small vehicles can pass via Jalan Hadiah-Jalan Hadiah\n1-Jalan Hadiah 2-Jalan Prof Dr Latumeten Barat 3 or via Jalan Dr Susilo\nI-Jalan Dr.\u00a0Muwardi I-Jalan Dr Muwardi Il-Jalan Dr Muwardi-Jalan Semeru\nand so on. Traffic from North to South can still pass.<\/p>\n<p>Then, traffic management on the East side, starting from the North\ntoward the South for heavy vehicles is detoured via a U-turn at a\nroundabout before Season City-Jalan Prof Dr Latumeten-Jalan Pangeran\nTubagus Angke-Jalan Daan Mogot, with a right turn at the Jembatan Dua\nintersection; while vehicles to other directions can pass via Jalan\nSemeru-Jalan Dr Muwardi-Jalan Dr Susilo 1 and so on \/ can pass via Jalan\nDr Semeru I.<\/p>\n<p>Siti confirmed that all construction stages are being carried out in\naccordance with safety standards and the set timelines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe apologise for any inconvenience that may arise during the work,\u201d\nshe said.<\/p>\n<p>The Latumeten flyover project aims, among other things, to eliminate\nthe risk of accidents at railway level crossings, shorten travel times\nby separating road traffic and train movements, and spur economic growth\nin the area through more efficient accessibility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe presence of the flyover will also facilitate the transfer of\nusers to other transport modes, with TOD at Grogol Station, the\nTransjakarta or Jaklingko stops, and other public transport,\u201d she\nadded.<\/p>",
