\u201cIn connection with an activity to convey public aspirations in\nYogyakarta, the Yogyakarta Police Traffic Unit is implementing traffic\ndiversions, to be enforced on a situational basis if congestion occurs,\u201d\nthe Yogyakarta Regional Police said on its official Instagram account,\n@poldajogja<\/span>, on\nWednesday (28 October 2026).<\/p>\n The diversions will depend on conditions on the ground and are\nbroadly intended to restrict vehicles heading towards Malioboro and the\ncity\u2019s Kilometer Zero area.<\/p>\n From the north, traffic will be diverted at the Malioboro Teteg post,\nsending vehicles that would enter Malioboro Street towards Pasar Kembang\nStreet. If congestion persists, traffic will be diverted at the Legend\njunction towards Abu Bakar Ali Street.<\/p>\n On the eastern side, vehicles will be diverted at the Melia four-way\njunction, which directs westbound traffic towards Suryatmajan Street or\nthe Kepatihan Office.<\/p>\n For diversions around Kilometer Zero, traffic will be redirected\neastwards at the PKU T-junction, southwards at the Ngejaman junction,\nand away from the eastbound approach to KH Ahmad Dahlan Street at the\nNgabean four-way junction.<\/p>\n On the western side, traffic at the Kilometer Zero junction heading\neast towards Senopati Street will be diverted west towards KH Ahmad\nDahlan Street. At the Sriwedani T-junction, southbound traffic on\nSenopati Street will be redirected east towards Limaran Street.<\/p>\n At the Permata T-junction, westbound traffic on Sultan Agung Street\nwill be redirected north towards Gajah Mada Street. At the Jokteng Timur\nfour-way junction, northbound traffic on Brigjend Katamso Street will be\nredirected to Mayjend Sutoyo Street and Kolonel Sugiyono Street.<\/p>\n Finally, on the southern side, northbound traffic on Brigjend Katamso\nStreet at the Ibu Ruswo T-junction will be diverted west towards Ibu\nRuswo Street. Traffic from the Ibu Ruswo junction heading west towards\nthe North Square will instead be diverted north at the Gondomanan\njunction.<\/p>\n At the Pangurakan T-junction, southbound traffic towards the North\nSquare will be redirected towards Senopati Street and KH Ahmad Dahlan\nStreet. At the Kauman four-way junction, eastbound traffic heading\ntowards the North Square will be diverted towards H. Agus Salim\nStreet.<\/p>",
