The public is urged not to readily\nbelieve such information.<\/p>\n<p>Kombes Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto, Head of the Sub-Directorate for\nEnforcement and Guidance at Korlantas Polri, explained that the\ncirculating information is incorrect. \u201cKorlantas Polri urges the public\nnot to easily believe information spreading on social media regarding a\nsupposed new regulation stating that motorcyclists with bald tyres will\nbe fined Rp 250,000 or face a one-month prison sentence,\u201d he said in a\nstatement on Thursday (23\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>He explained that regulations concerning vehicles are already\nstipulated in Law No.\u00a022 of 2009.
