Head of the Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the Indonesian National\nPolice, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, has urged all road users to\nprioritise safety during travel, particularly on toll roads experiencing\nincreased vehicle volume.<\/p>\n
\u2018Road users should exercise caution, especially on toll roads, with\nheavy vehicles using the left lane,\u2019 Agus said in Gadog, Bogor, on\nMonday, 1 June 2026.<\/p>\n
To support road safety and traffic flow, Korlantas Polri continues to\npermit the use of rotators and sirens on toll road patrol vehicles,\naiding officers in monitoring traffic.<\/p>\n
\u2018I reiterate that the use of rotators and sirens will continue,\nspecifically for toll road patrols. This allows patrol vehicles from the\nRoad Patrol (PJR) units to advise traffic during peak hours,\u2019 Agus\nstated.<\/p>\n
Agus confirmed that accident rates during peak travel periods remain\ncontrolled with no major incidents.<\/p>\n
\u2018Accident incidents are currently under control with no significant\noccurrences. I also extend appreciation to the Road Patrol (PJR) and\nWest Java units for their consistent presence at locations such as\nGadog, especially during weekends and holidays when traffic is heavy,\u2019\nhe added.<\/p>\n
Finally, Agus emphasised that traffic police remain on duty around\nthe clock to anticipate potential disruptions.<\/p>\n
