        "content": "<p>The Head of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps\n(Kakorlantas), Inspector General Wibowo, has requested traffic units to\nmaturely prepare for the implementation of the Zero Over Dimension Over\nLoad (ODOL) policy by 2027. He emphasised the importance of synergy and\ncollaboration with all stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector General Wibowo made these remarks while opening the\nAnalysis and Evaluation (Anev) of Road Traffic, Safety, and Order\n(Kamseltibcarlantas), attended by Traffic Directors from regional police\ndepartments across Indonesia at the Madellu Hall of the National Police\nTraffic Corps, Jakarta, on Thursday (3\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Inspector General Wibowo requested that his personnel map out\npotential field issues before the policy is enforced. This step is\nintended to anticipate obstacles from the outset to ensure that traffic\nflow and public mobility are not disrupted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrepare well, re-check the readiness of infrastructure and\nfacilities, the routes, and inventory the problems that may arise during\nthese activities,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the readiness of infrastructure and the routes to be\ntraversed by freight vehicles, Inspector General Wibio also stressed the\nimportance of coordination and collaboration with all relevant\nstakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, traffic issues related to the movement of freight\nvehicles cannot be handled by the National Police alone, thus requiring\ninter-agency synergy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMinimise [issues] and coordinate with stakeholders because I am\ncertain we will not be able to resolve our problems on our own,\u201d he\nasserted.<\/p>\n<p>Inspector General Wibowo hopes that cross-sectoral readiness and\ncoordination can be carried out optimally. This is to ensure that the\nimplementation of Zero ODOL in 2027 can achieve its objectives without\nhindering traffic flow and public mobility.<\/p>",
