        "content": "<p>Traditional food festival opens<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): A two-week food festival featuring traditional<br>\neateries from various regions across the country has opened at<br>\nthe Pasaraya department store in Manggarai, Central Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Organized by the department store, the festival was opened by<br>\nGovernor Sutiyoso Friday and will last until April 8.<\/p>\n<p>The 30 food sellers participating in the event offer an array<br>\nof traditional fare from Jakarta's Kerak Telur, Bandeng Presto<br>\nfrom Semarang, and Roti Medan from North Sumatra.<\/p>\n<p>Sutiyoso said he hoped the festival would become a routine<br>\nevent to promote local delicacies at the national or even<br>\ninternational level.
