PT KAI Commuter will temporarily close tracks 6, 7, and 8 at Bogor Station from mid-April 2026 for 90 days to extend the platform by 50 metres and adjust existing tracks. This construction will impact parking areas, five tenants on platform 8, and require rerouting of passenger access to tracks 1 through 5, along with minor adjustments to 31 Commuter Line schedules and relocation of facilities like prayer rooms and toilets. The changes aim to maintain passenger flow and safety, with KAI urging commuters to adapt to the new arrangements.

The railway crossings on tracks 6, 7, and 8 at Bogor Station in West
Java will be temporarily closed starting from mid-April 2026. The
closure of these three railway tracks at Bogor Station is due to the
extension of the platform by 50 metres, as well as adjustments to the
tracks and platforms on tracks 6 and 7 from the existing condition
spanning 57 metres. The work is planned to last for 90 calendar days and
will begin in the third week of April 2026, meaning it is expected to be
completed in July 2026. During the construction period, several areas at
Bogor Station will be used to support the construction activities,
including the parking area managed by PT Reska Multi Usaha. The former
parking area managed by YWKA will also be repurposed as a mobilisation
route to the work site. Several tenants at Bogor Station will be
affected, particularly five businesses on platform 8 whose access will
be temporarily closed during the construction period. Franoto emphasised
that KAI has socialised these arrangements to the tenants. To ensure
smooth passenger movement, KAI has prepared a rerouting scheme.
Passenger boarding and alighting services on tracks 6, 7, and 8 at Bogor
Station will be closed and redirected to tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Access for entry and exit, including tap-in and tap-out, will also
change. “In addition, there will be adjustments to 31 Commuter Line
Bogor train schedules for departure and arrival times, delayed by two to
three minutes from the previous schedule,” said VP Corporate Secretary
of KAI Commuter, Karina Amanda. Passenger service facilities on the west
side of the station, such as the prayer room and toilets, will also be
temporarily relocated to the south side of the station. Meanwhile, a
temporary level crossing will be built for passenger movement entering
or exiting on the south side towards Jalan Kapten Muslihat to platforms
1-5. The crossing on track 5 towards Bogor Paledang will be widened to
enhance user comfort and safety. “KAI Commuter also urges Commuter Line
users boarding and alighting at Bogor Station to adjust to the new
departure and arrival flows as well as the updated KRL train schedules,”
Karina explained.
",
