TPJ announces water disruption<\/p>\n
JAKARTA(JP): A city tap water company, PT Thames Pam Jaya
\n(TPJ), announced on Monday that customers in a number of areas in
\nEast and North Jakarta would experience water supply disruptions
\nfrom Tuesday through Friday due to routine maintenance work.<\/p>\n
To anticipate the disruption of water supplies, the company
\nsuggested that consumers fully fill up their water tanks.<\/p>\n
Areas likely to be affected include Pegangsaan Dua
\nsubdistrict, Central Jakarta, and Kelapa Gading Barat, North
\nJakarta. Supplies to these areas will be disrupted from Tuesday
\nevening through Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
The water supply disruption would likely also affect East
\nJakarta subdistricts such as Cawang, Cililitan, Kebon Pala, Halim
\nPerdana Kusuma, Bidara Cina, Cipinang Cempedak, Kampung Melayu,
\nKramat Jati, Kampung Makassar and Batu Ampar. Disruption of water
\nsupplies to these areas would last from Tuesday evening through
\nThursday morning.<\/p>\n
Supplies would also affect in East Pademangan, West
\nPademangan, Sunter Agung and Ancol in North Jakarta from Friday
