        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The TP PKK DKI Jakarta team, together with PAM\nJaya, assisted in providing clean water to coastal residents by\ninstalling a water tank in RW 01, Pluit Subdistrict, Penjaringan\nDistrict, North Jakarta, on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The Chair of the TP PKK DKI Jakarta, Hani Pramono Anung, stated in\nJakarta on Wednesday that this effort is part of the collaboration\nbetween TP PKK DKI Jakarta and PAM Jaya to strengthen clean water\nresilience for communities, particularly in coastal areas.<\/p>\n<p>She appreciated the synergy with Daya Wanita PAM Jaya as a tangible\nmanifestation of the presence of the regional government and\nregional-owned enterprises (BUMD) in fulfilling the basic needs of the\ncommunity quickly and on target.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope this initiative can continue and provide broader positive\nimpacts on the welfare and health of residents,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The Operational Director of PAM Jaya, Syahrul Hasan, explained that\nthe distribution of 2,000 water tank units will be carried out gradually\nthroughout the DKI Jakarta area.<\/p>\n<p>In the initial stage, assistance is prioritised for areas with\nspecific geographical conditions and urgent water storage needs, such as\nMuara Angke in Pluit Subdistrict.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis tank serves as an effective short-term solution because it can\nprovide a stable water reserve for needs up to 24 hours,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, one resident of RT 06\/RW 01, Neneng Maelani (45), admitted\nthat she had to spend up to Rp50,000 per day to meet her clean water\nneeds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to buy water from itinerant vendors who sell water to\nresidents,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She had to spend around Rp30,000 to Rp50,000 every day to buy water\nfrom itinerant vendors. \u201cThis water is bought to meet daily needs,\u201d she\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>However, on Wednesday, residents received a 300-litre water tank\nassistance from TP PKK DKI Jakarta and PAM Jaya. This greatly helps her\nand her family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince the tank from PAM Jaya was installed, the water needs for\neight people in her household are met. Neighbouring residents are also\nbenefiting,\u201d said Neneng.<\/p>",
