        "content": "<p>Total&apos;s new Indonesian deal<\/p>\n<p>PARIS (Opecna): French oil group Total has signed an agreement<br>\nwith Asamera, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gulf Canada Resources,<br>\nto participate in a production-sharing contract in Indonesia,<br>\nTotal announced here Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement gives total a 30 percent interest in the South<br>\nJambi &quot;B&quot; production-sharing contract area in southern Sumatera.<\/p>\n<p>The accord has been approved by the Indonesian national oil<br>\ncompany, Pertamina, which owns 25 percent of the concession.<\/p>\n<p>The operator is Asamera, with a 45 percent interest following<br>\nthe assignment.
