I just can't understand why these unauthorized agents can work
\nso freely in this department. In fact, the Jakarta police chief
\nhas time and again warned the public not to use the services of
\nthese people, some of whom are police officers themselves. They
\nnever fail to offer their services to the incoming public. An
\nagent might say to the person: \"If you want your driver's
\nlicense, I can do it for you for only Rp 125,000 without taking
\nthe theoretical or practical tests. I can guarantee that you will
\npass them.\"<\/p>\n
Despite the fact these people's activities are considered
\nillegal, I find these agents very helpful. You can complete your
\nlicense much more quickly, while the official channel may take
\ndays. The ones who must be punished are the police officials who
\nintentionally make the job difficult and very inefficient, even
\nthough the applicant has prepared all the required papers. Such
\npractices are very disappointing. I hope the Jakarta police chief
\nwill make spot checks to find out the true situation and take the
\nnecessary measures in an effort to give better service to the
\npublic.<\/p>\n
