Toll road robbery dossiers finished<\/p>\n
BOGOR (JP): Dossiers on two men suspected of being in the 1996
\nfatal Jagorawi toll road robbery have been sent to the Bogor
\nDistrict Court by the prosecutors' office.<\/p>\n
A source at the prosecutors' office told The Jakarta Post
\nyesterday that the dossiers of Mikael and Hendrik were sent to
\nthe court Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The court, through its spokesman Usman Wahab, confirmed it
\nyesterday, saying the dossiers were received Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The source at the prosecutors' office said the suspects would
\nbe prosecuted by Razali Hanafiah, Yono Salim and Rachman Asbar.<\/p>\n
The source said police had not yet completed the dossier on
\nanother suspect, said to have masterminded the robbery in which a
\nprivate company employee, Zaenuddin Lesmana was killed.<\/p>\n
Police said that in the October 11 robbery a Kijang van
\nintercepted Zaenuddin's car on the Jagorawi turnpike, and one of
\nthree unidentified men jumped out of the van and shot Zaenuddin
\ndead. The robbers stole more than Rp 300 million from his car but
\nleft his two passengers unhurt.<\/p>\n
The two men were declared suspects after interrogation. One of
\nthem, Tjetje Tadjudin died in police custody, and a police
\nofficer, blamed for torturing him, was sacked.<\/p>\n
Court officials said yesterday the case would be tried soon,
\nbut they had no idea when. (24\/sur)<\/p>",
