The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) ended Friday’s (14/8) trading
session with a gain of 1.59% to 6,401.89.

The index’s rise was driven by several stocks that recorded
significant movements, namely BYAN which rose 20.00%, MPRO which
strengthened 17.92%, and SRAJ which added 15.38%. On the other hand,
several stocks were in the red. BREN fell 2.46%, TPIA corrected 2.43%,
while BBCA weakened 0.39%.

Despite the IHSG strengthening, foreign investors still recorded a
net sell of Rp396.50 billion in the regular market. Taking into account
the entire market, the foreign net sell value reached Rp1.03
trillion.

From a sectoral perspective, all 11 stock sectors closed higher. The
Healthcare sector recorded a gain of 3.09%, making it the sector with
the largest increase in Friday’s trading.

Meanwhile, the United States stock market moved lower. The Dow Jones
fell 0.51% to 53,459, the S&P 500 corrected 0.52% to 7,745, and the
Nasdaq fell 0.32% to 26,644.

Domestically, the government is targeting the regulation for the
Strategic Mineral and Commodities Exchange to be completed by 17
September. The exchange is planned to begin operations on 1 January
2027. The presence of this exchange is projected to support the
commodity price discovery process while increasing the bargaining power
of domestic mining issuers.

This sentiment was also followed by the strengthening of Indonesian
assets in the global market. The EIDO ETF rose 0.96%, while MSCI
Indonesia strengthened 0.21%.

In terms of corporate actions, Siloam International Hospitals Tbk.
(SILO) is preparing a corporate action in the form of acquiring 100% of
the shares in 14 companies that own hospital properties from its
subsidiary First Real Estate Investment Trust (First REIT).

The transaction value is estimated to reach Rp6.91 trillion. This
amount is equivalent to 67.57% of SILO’s total equity as of 31 March
2026.

The agreed value for the property assets was set at Rp9 trillion.
After taking into account adjustments to net assets and liabilities as
well as capital expenditure commitments, there was an adjustment of
minus Rp2.09 trillion.

The transaction will be carried out in two stages. First, through a
Conditional Share Purchase Agreement (CSPA), followed by a Put Option
Agreement (POA). Both agreements were signed on 1 April 2026.

To finance the transaction, SILO will use bank loan facilities. Based
on the pro forma as of 31 March 2026, this transaction will add
long-term bank debt of Rp8.88 trillion and increase total liabilities by
Rp8.62 trillion.

On the other hand, cash and cash equivalents are projected to fall by
approximately Rp12.39 million to Rp1.19 trillion.

Next, Sumi Indo Kabel Tbk. (IKBI) is targeting sales of USD266
million in 2026. This target represents an increase of 15.65%
year-on-year compared to 2025 sales of USD230 million.

The target is supported by the business prospects for electric cables
and medium-voltage networks amid network expansion, renewable energy
integration, and infrastructure modernisation.

However, as of the first half of 2026, IKBI has only recorded sales
of USD75.43 million, or 28.36% of the full-year target. This means the
company still needs to record sales of approximately USD190.57 million
in the second half of 2026 to achieve the target.

In terms of profitability, IKBI’s revenue grew 18.11% year-on-year.
However, cost of goods sold increased 21.40%, so gross profit was
pressured 20.88% to USD3.94 million.

Technically, IKBI shares still have room to move towards the Rp530
area after the stock closed below the 21-day EMA for three consecutive
trading days.

Then there is also Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk. (BPII)
which has set an interim cash dividend for the 2026 financial year of
Rp3.54 per share. The total dividend to be distributed reaches Rp34.98
billion for the period ending 30 June 2026.

The dividend reflects a dividend payout ratio of 81.68% of net profit
attributable to owners of the parent entity in the first half of 2026 of
Rp42.83 billion.

The dividend distribution decision was approved by the Board of
Directors and Board of Commissioners on 12 August 2026.

In the first half of 2026, BPII recorded insurance service revenue of
Rp936.34 billion. Transportation service revenue reached Rp346 billion,
while investment management and other service revenue amounted to
Rp219.23 billion.

The company also recorded net financial income of Rp20.47 billion and
other net income of Rp34.42 billion.

In Friday’s (14/8) trading, BPII shares closed at Rp464 per share, up
4.98% compared to the previous session. Based on that price, the interim
dividend of Rp3.54 per share is equivalent to a dividend yield of
approximately 0.76%.

The cum date for the dividend in the regular and negotiation markets
is set for 26 August 2026. Meanwhile, the dividend payment is scheduled
for 11 September 2026.

Today’s Stock Recommendations from Mega Capital Sekuritas

PGEO - Buy 1080-1090 | TP 1110-1130 | SL 1030

PACK - Buy 290-294 | TP 300-304 | SL 276

INET - Buy 228-232 | TP 238-242 | SL 216

DSNG - Buy 1325-1335 | TP 1350-1380 | SL 1260

EXCL - Buy 2780-2800 | TP 2830-2890 | SL 2620
",
