        "content": "<p>Police are implementing a traffic engineering measure in the form of\na local one-way system from kilometre marker 414 at Kalikangkung Toll\nGate on the Batang-Semarang toll road section to kilometre marker 442 at\nBawen Toll Gate on the Semarang-Solo toll road section on Wednesday\n(18\/3) starting at 4:35 PM Western Indonesia Time.<\/p>\n<p>This local one-way engineering is being applied to smooth the flow of\nvehicles heading towards Bawen, Solo, and Surabaya during the 2026\nLebaran homecoming traffic period.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe implementation of this local one-way system is a strategic step\nin alleviating traffic density on the main homecoming route towards\nCentral Java and East Java,\u201d said Vice President Corporate Secretary\n&amp; Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, in her\nstatement.<\/p>\n<p>Ria stated that Jasa Marga has prepared personnel as well as\nfacilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of this\nlocal one-way system.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJTT has mobilised operational staff and ensured the readiness of\nfacilities and infrastructure to support the smooth execution of this\ntraffic engineering,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, a national one-way traffic engineering had also been\nenforced from kilometre marker 70 of the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road to\nkilometre marker 421 of the Semarang-Solo toll road.<\/p>\n<p>The implementation of the national one-way was marked by a flag-off\nceremony conducted by Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi,\nattended by West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan and\nDirector of Traffic Enforcement at the National Police Headquarters\nBrigadier General Faizal.<\/p>\n<p>Dudy stated that the application of this one-way scheme is one form\nof the state\u2019s presence in providing services to the public undertaking\nhomecoming journeys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of them is carrying out traffic engineering initiated by the\nNational Police, in this case the Traffic Directorate General and also\nseveral regional police commands in West Java, Central Java, and East\nJava, to ensure smoothness and comfort for the public,\u201d said Dudy to\nreporters on Wednesday (18\/3).<\/p>",
