TNT, Tigaraksa tie up<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): TNT Logistics Asia Pte. Limited and PT Tigaraksa
\nSatria agreed here yesterday to establish a joint venture firm to
\nprovide logistic services in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
David Mortimer, the managing director and chief executive
\nofficer of TNT Limited, said that the joint venture, which will
\nbe named PT TNT Logistic Indonesia, will provide logistic
\nservices to domestic and multi-national firms in the country.<\/p>\n
The establishment of the joint venture is a major part of
\nTNT's development plans in South East Asia, he said following the
\nsigning of the joint venture agreement.<\/p>\n
Tigaraksa, a distribution company listed on the Jakarta Stock
\nExchange, also agreed to assign the warehousing operations to the
\nplanned joint venture under a contract agreement.<\/p>\n
TNT Logistic Asia Pte. Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of
\nTNT Limited, the Australian based Worldwide Transportation and
