TNT gets ISO 9002 certificate<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): PT TNT Logistics Indonesia, a subsidiary of
\nAmsterdam-based TNT Post Group N.V. has been awarded ISO 9002
\ncertification for its logistics warehouse operation at milk
\npowder manufacturer PT Sari Husada in Klaten, Central Java.<\/p>\n
The company said in a statement on Thursday that the
\ncertificate emphasized that quality was "a way of life for TNT
\nand its partners."<\/p>\n
The logistics partnership had succeeded in doubling the
\nwarehouse capacity at Sari Husada from 8,000 square meters to
\n16,000 square meters.<\/p>\n
The ISO 9002 audit comprised more than six month of
\ncomprehensive assessment of every aspect in the warehouse
\noperations -- ranging from work manuals to uniforms and forms, it
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
TNT Logistics Indonesia started operating in 1995. It has
\ncurrently some 300 employees, supported by 14 branches
