        "content": "<p>The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) has conducted an\nintegrated tri-service exercise in Lingga Regency, Riau Islands (Kepri),\nto test the interoperability of personnel and primary weapon systems\n(alutsista) in joint operations. Head of the TNI Information Centre\n(Kapuspen) Brigadier General Muhammad Nas stated that the exercise\ninvolved elements from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, prioritising\nintegrated operational capabilities across the services. \u201cThis exercise\nis an integrated tri-service TNI drill. We want to show that the TNI is\nready with the personnel and alutsista provided to us. What we want to\ndemonstrate is the interoperability of the three services,\u201d he said in\nLingga on Tuesday. He explained that the exercise tested the readiness\nof personnel and equipment to carry out operations in an integrated\nmanner. \u201cThe exercise also aims to ensure that the TNI Commander can\nexecute effective command and control down to the lowest units,\u201d he\nadded. A Key Disembarkation Point (KDOL) consisting of 13 personnel from\nthe Denmatra 2 of the Rapid Reaction Force Corps (Korpasgat) and 12\npersonnel from Infantry Battalion 328 was deployed to secure the target\narea, mark landing zones, conduct terrain observation, and provide\ninformation on the area\u2019s condition and enemy situation before the main\nforce\u2019s arrival. This phase integrated the capabilities of a CN-235\ntransport aircraft from Air Squadron 27 Biak, Korpasgat, and Infantry\nBattalion 328 as part of the TNI\u2019s joint operations capability test. The\nexercise was directly observed by TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto,\naccompanied by Air Force Chief of Staff Air Marshal M. Tonny Harjono.\n\u201cWe want to show that the TNI is professional with the personnel and\nmaterial it possesses, and is ready to carry out its mandate according\nto the law, both in Military Operations for War and Military Operations\nOther Than War, including securing the outermost and remote regions of\nthe Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,\u201d he said. He explained\nthat in addition to involving all land, sea, and air forces, the series\nof exercises also included Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP) in\nthe form of social and community service activities involving more than\n12,000 personnel. Through this exercise, the TNI hopes that\ninteroperability between the services will be further strengthened so\nthat joint operations can be carried out more effectively in facing\nvarious threats and supporting national defence readiness.<\/p>",
