Three of his comrades were\ninjured, one seriously and currently in a coma, and two with minor\ninjuries,\u201d Sugiono told reporters on Monday, 30 March 2026. \u201cAs Foreign\nMinister and on behalf of the Republic of Indonesia\u2019s government, we\nextend our deepest condolences,\u201d he added. Sugiono emphasised that the\nIndonesian government strongly condemns the attack carried out by Israel\nthat resulted in the TNI soldier\u2019s death. \u201cWe also strongly condemn this\nincident and the attacks carried out by Israel in southern Lebanon,\u201d he\nstated. It was previously reported that one TNI soldier was declared\ndead and three others injured due to an artillery attack while on a\npeacekeeping mission in Lebanon on Sunday, 29 March 2026. Aulia\nexplained that the attack stemmed from the escalating conflict in the\nLebanon region, particularly in southern Lebanon. This escalation in\nconflict triggered several attacks, one of which targeted the area where\nthe Indonesian contingent was located in the city of Adshit al-Qusyar in\nsouthern Lebanon on Sunday, 29 March 2026. The soldier who died in the\nattack was named Praka Farizal Rhomadhon.
