        "content": "<p>The Indonesian Army has formed an investigation team following an\nexplosion at the Central Munitions Depot II belonging to the Army\nEquipment Centre in Madiun, East Java, on Thursday (16\/7).<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Army Information Service, Brigadier General Donny\nPramono, stated that the team would work professionally, objectively,\nand comprehensively to ensure every fact obtained is accountable.<\/p>\n<p>\"We have formed an investigation team to conduct a thorough inquiry\nand investigation to ascertain the exact chronology and cause of the\nincident,\" Donny said during a press conference on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that, based on initial reports, the incident occurred\nwhile personnel were carrying out inspection and maintenance procedures\nfor munitions materiel in one of the storage warehouses.<\/p>\n<p>In the incident, one Army personnel member was confirmed dead, four\nothers sustained serious injuries, and two more suffered minor\ninjuries.<\/p>\n<p>\"Immediately after the incident, the unit evacuated all victims to\nhospital for rapid medical treatment while reporting the matter\nprocedurally through the chain of command,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the Army has taken initial handling steps by providing\nfull attention and assistance to the victims.<\/p>\n<p>\"The investigation team has been formed and departed for the scene\nthis afternoon. The Army is clearly committed to handling this incident\nseriously and transparently, whilst ensuring every step in caring for\nthe victims and the investigation process proceeds as effectively as\npossible,\" he stated.<\/p>",
