Jakarta (ANTARA) - Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) remains a
popular choice for residents looking to exercise and enjoy open spaces
in Jakarta. Notably, during September 2026, certain visitors can enter
the TMII area without paying an entrance fee during specified hours.

The programme applies every Monday to Friday throughout September
2026. Visitors can enjoy free access from 05:00 to 08:00 WIB.
Information regarding this programme was shared via TMII’s official
account and reported on 21 September 2026.

However, the free entry programme does not mean all visitors can
enter without a ticket throughout the day. There are several conditions
that need to be noted before visiting TMII:

  1. Applicable in the morning: The free entry programme is only valid
from 05:00 to 08:00 WIB. Visitors arriving outside of these hours must
follow the standard TMII ticketing regulations.

  2. Applicable Monday to Friday: The free entry opportunity is
provided on weekdays, specifically Monday to Friday during September
2026. Consequently, the programme does not apply on Saturdays, Sundays,
or national holidays.

  3. Exclusively for Indonesian Citizens: This programme is intended
for Indonesian Citizens (WNI). Visitors should note this requirement
before utilising the free entry scheme.

  4. On-site processing required: Visitors wishing to use the free
programme must complete the ticket process directly on-site. This
differs from regular ticket purchases made through online
channels.

  5. Does not include vehicle fees: The free entry applies only to
visitor admission. Vehicles brought into the TMII area are still subject
to fees in accordance with applicable regulations.

  6. Not applicable to groups: The free entry programme does not apply
to groups. Therefore, visitors travelling in groups should refer to
TMII’s group ticketing regulations.

For visitors arriving outside the free programme hours, TMII
continues to apply regular entrance fees. According to the official TMII
website, entrance fees on weekdays are set at Rp25,000 per person, while
weekend rates are Rp35,000 per person.

In addition to the area entrance fee, several attractions and
facilities within TMII have their own separate tariffs. For instance,
the cable car costs Rp50,000 from Monday to Friday and Rp60,000 on
Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.

TMII also provides various facilities and areas that can be enjoyed
by visitors at no additional cost, including several regional pavilions
and certain performances according to the schedule.

With this programme, the public still has the opportunity to utilise
the remainder of September 2026 to visit TMII without paying entrance
fees, particularly for Indonesian citizens visiting between 05:00 and
08:00 WIB on weekdays.

Nevertheless, visitors must remain mindful of the programme’s terms,
including visiting hours, Indonesian citizenship status, on-site
purchasing requirements, and vehicle fees which are not included in the
free entry scheme.

https://jawawa.id/newsitem/tmii-free-entry-in-september-2026-requirements-and-visiting-hours-1790161208
"
Okusi Associates
https://okusiassociates.com" }
