It is our intention to build the Alfred Dunhill Masters
into one of the most important and significant tournaments in
Asia," Richard Cole, the firm's Pacific managing director, said.

The increase in prize money, he added, is one of the first
steps towards achieving the goal. "We would like the tournament
to remain in Indonesia this year. But, it's too early to announce
the venue as we and the IMG, our partner in the event, currently
have a number of different courses under consideration."

The event, ranked among the richest in terms of cash prizes on
offer in Indonesia, will continue to be sanctioned by the PGA
Australasian Tour, although both Alfred Dunhill and IMG have made
no secret of the fact that they would like to work towards a
joint sanction with the Asian Tour.(rsl)
",
