        "content": "<p>Tin plate dumped here<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The finance minister has imposed countervailing<br>\nduties ranging from 5 to 68 percent on tin plates from Australia,<br>\nSouth Korea and Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p>The minister, by decree No.23\/1999 dated Jan. 18, set<br>\nantidumping duties on tin plates from BHP Steel and other<br>\nAustralian producers at 28 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Tin plates from Japan are subject to 68 percent countervailing<br>\nduties. Those from South Korea's Dong Bu and Dong Yan face 5<br>\npercent duties, while tin plates from Posco and other Korean<br>\nsuppliers are subject to 9 percent duties. All suppliers in<br>\nTaiwan will be subject to 41 percent countervailing duties.<\/p>\n<p>The countervailing duties were imposed after a complaint from<br>\ndomestic tin plate producer PT Latinusa, in Cilegon, West Java.<br>\n(vin)<\/p>",
