        "content": "<p>Timor to have open schools<\/p>\n<p>DILI, East Timor: The youngest province will soon have two<br>\nopen junior high schools to accommodate elementary school<br>\ngraduates who cannot continue their studies at regular schools, a<br>\nlocal official said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of the local office of education Soekarman said that<br>\nmany primary school graduates could not continue their studies<br>\nbecause they had to help their parents earn a living.<\/p>\n<p>\"The open schools will enable them to study any time they like<br>\nwithout going to school every day,\" he told Antara.<\/p>\n<p>He said the open school students would be guided by tutors<br>\nrecruited from junior high school teachers.<\/p>\n<p>The location of the school buildings are yet to be determined,<br>\nhe added.
