But in other respects I<br>\nthink his views are somewhat blinkered.<\/p>\n<p>From his letter, one might be led to believe that, as a<br>\npatriotic Indonesian, he owns or intends to own a Timor.<br>\nDoubtless many patriotic Indonesians would flock to buy an<br>\nIndonesian car, if one were available, but all they are offered<br>\nis a not very good Korean car masquerading as Indonesian.<\/p>\n<p>Potential buyers may also find their conscience troubled by<br>\nthe blatant favoritism displayed toward the importer of the<br>\nKorean car -- with exemption from import duties etc.<\/p>\n<p>JAMES RICHARDS<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta<\/p>",
