        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has\narrested Budiman Bayu Prasojo, an official from the Directorate General\nof Customs and Excise (DJBC). Here is the timeline of events.<\/p>\n<p>The KPK Spokesperson, Budi Prasetyo, stated that Budiman was arrested\nat the DJBC headquarters in Jakarta at 4:00 PM local time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBBP (Budiman Bayu Prasojo) was arrested at the headquarters of the\nDirectorate General of Customs and Excise in Jakarta. The arrest took\nplace around four o\u2019clock in the afternoon,\u201d said Budi at the Merah\nPutih Building, Jakarta, on Thursday (February 26, 2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBBP is suspected of violating the provisions of Article 12B\nregarding bribery or gratification, in conjunction with Article 20,\nparagraph C, of the new Criminal Code,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurthermore, after investigating the witnesses and gathering\ninformation, we determined the source of the funds and their intended\nuse. As a result, the KPK has named BBP (Budiman Bayu Prasojo) as a new\nsuspect in this case,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In this case, the KPK has named six suspects, including the Director\nof Investigation and Enforcement of the Directorate General of Customs\nand Excise (P2 DJBC) for the period 2024-2026, Rizal; the Head of the\nIntelligence Sub-Directorate of P2 DJBC, Sisprian Subiaksono; and the\nHead of the Intelligence Section of DJBC, Orlando Hamonangan.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the suspects include the Owner of PT Blueray, John\nField; the Head of the Import Document Team of PT Blueray, Andri; and\nthe Operational Manager of PT Blueray, Dedy Kurniawan.<\/p>\n<p>Asep stated that John Field wanted the counterfeit goods imported by\nhis company, PT Blueray, to not be inspected upon entry into\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPT BR wanted the goods under its control, which were imported from\nabroad, to not be subject to inspection.
