        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 A pile-up involving seven vehicles occurred on the Jakarta\nOuter Ring Road toll section at kilometre 30 towards Pondok Pinang on\nTuesday afternoon, 10 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Traffic Investigation at Jakarta Metro Police\nHeadquarters, AKBP Rieki Indra Brata Manggala, said that seven vehicles\nwere initially travelling at normal speed in lane 2 towards Pondok\nPinang.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, a truck driven by F (26) experienced brake failure. As\na result, F was unable to control the vehicle\u2019s movement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe seventh vehicle experienced brake failure and collided with the\nsixth vehicle,\u201d Rieki told Kompas.com on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The truck driven by F, which had lost control, then shifted into lane\n1. Without control, the truck struck a BRV car in front of it, which\nthen collided with a box truck.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe seventh vehicle lost control, shifted to lane 1 and collided\nagain with the second and first vehicles,\u201d Rieki said.<\/p>\n<p>Police officers together with toll road management evacuated the\nvehicles and witnesses, including two drivers who sustained minor\ninjuries.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, five vehicles involved in the accident were taken to\nEast Jakarta Police Headquarters.<\/p>",
