        "content": "<p>Tight security for Sumiarsih<\/p>\n<p>MALANG, East Java: Sumiarsih, one of the four convicted<br>\nmurderers of a marine lieutenant colonel and his family, is being<br>\nclosely guarded before her execution, chief of the Sukun women's<br>\nprison Suhartatik said Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\"The precaution has been taken to prevent her from doing<br>\nanything dangerous. She is guarded even when she takes a bath,\"<br>\nSuhartatik was quoted by Antara as saying.<\/p>\n<p>She said the precautions started July 24, the day her request<br>\nfor clemency was rejected by President Soeharto.<\/p>\n<p>Sumiarsih, her husband police sergeant Prayit, her son Sugeng,<br>\nand her son-in-law Second Sergeant Adi Saputro, were convicted<br>\nlast year of murdering Lt. Col. Purwanto and his family because<br>\nthey could not repay the Rp 37 million (US$16,500) they owed to<br>\nthe victims.<\/p>\n<p>Adi Saputro has been executed, while Sumiarsih, Prayit, and<br>\nSugeng will reportedly be executed later this month.
