        "content": "<p>Tiger offers low fare to six cities<\/p>\n<p>SINGAPORE: Budget carrier Tiger Airways announced on Sunday it is<br>\noffering one-way fares of US$6 to its entire network of 10 cities<br>\nin six Southeast Asian countries.<\/p>\n<p>The booking period starts on Monday through April 1 and is<br>\nvalid for mid-week travel on Mondays to Thursdays from July 1<br>\nuntil Oct. 29.<\/p>\n<p>The carrier, owned by Singapore Airlines (SIA), said that the<br>\noffer coincided with a celebration of the completion of its<br>\n\"first-phase network expansion\".<\/p>\n<p>The airline is extending the low fares to all the cities it<br>\ncovers including Singapore, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hatyai, Phuket,<br>\nHo Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Macau, Padang and Manila. Tiger is the<br>\nfirst budget airline to be granted landing rights for Padang, the<br>\nprovincial capital of West Sumatra in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Tiger took to the air on Sept. 15.
