The Ministry of Public Works (KemenPU) is preparing a budget of
Rp3.29 trillion in the 2027 Work Plan and Budget (RKA) to support the
construction and completion of several toll road projects.

The Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the Ministry of
Public Works, Ni Komang Rasminiati, stated that the budget will be
utilised to support the development of three specific toll road
projects.

“For toll road construction, particularly those involving government
construction support, Rp3.29 trillion has already been allocated within
the 2027 RKA,” said Komang during a Hearing with Commission V of the
Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the Parliament Complex,
Jakarta, on Tuesday (22/09/2026).

She revealed that the three toll road projects receiving government
construction support are the Serang-Panimbang Toll Road in Banten, the
Semarang-Demak Toll Road—specifically the Semarang-Sayung section in
Central Java—and the Patimban Access Toll Road in West Java.

In addition to construction support, the allocation also includes
funds to meet the government’s obligations for periodic service-based
payments (PBBL) for toll roads in Sumatra, specifically the
Betung-Tempino-Jambi Toll Road.

Komang noted that the PBBL budget requirement for the
Betung-Tempino-Jambi Toll Road in 2027 reaches Rp1.5 trillion. However,
the amount currently allocated stands at Rp1.345 trillion.

“The requirement for 2027 is actually Rp1.5 trillion, but currently,
only Rp1.345 trillion has been allocated,” she said.

Consequently, there remains a budget deficit of approximately Rp155
billion to meet this obligation. The BPJT hopes that this shortfall can
be covered by any remaining available funds.

“Our hope is that during the upcoming period, there will be surplus
budgets that can be reallocated to fulfil this obligation,” she
concluded.
",
