Three robbers caught in Tangerang<\/p>\n
TANGERANG (JP): Police arrested three men Saturday for
\nallegedly stealing a cash box containing Rp 50,000 (US$14.70)
\nfrom a motorcycle showroom in Tangerang.<\/p>\n
Tangerang police chief Lt. Col. Iman Haryatna said the three
\nsuspects, identified as Wagiman, 30, Wagiyanto, 26, and Purseno,
\n27, stole the cash box from the showroom on Jl. Muh. Toha in
\nJatiuwung district.<\/p>\n
Iman said the suspects entered the showroom by pretending to
\nbe potential buyers.<\/p>\n
He said the three suspects immediately entered the cashier
\nroom and one of them, Wagiman, pointed a knife at the cashier,
\nidentified as Budi. Wagiyanto then used a shoestring to tie up
\nBudi as Purseno grabbed the cash box.<\/p>\n
The suspects escaped by public minivan, he said.<\/p>\n
Police hunted down the suspects after receiving a report from
\nBudi and managed to arrest them because the minivan in which they
\nwere traveling was trapped in a traffic jam, he said.<\/p>\n
"The police are still questioning the suspects on whether they
