However, the ownership belongs to MML,\u201d said Central Jakarta Metro\nPolice Chief, Commissioner Reynold EP Hutagalung, during a press\nconference at the Central Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters on Friday\n(3\/7\/2026). Investigators from the Central Jakarta Metro Police have\nnamed seven individuals as suspects in the case. \u201cThe suspects have been\ndetained at the Central Jakarta Metro Police detention centre,\u201d Reynold\nstated. Of the seven suspects, five are men and two are women, namely\nCML and II. All seven are currently undergoing intensive questioning.\nThe suspects, identified as AI, S, AYL, and CML, were detained on\nSaturday (27\/6), while MML, NHJ, and II have been in custody since\nSunday (28\/6). In this case, the seven suspects are charged with alleged\ncriminal acts of extortion and threats, and\/or deprivation of liberty\nand coercion, and\/or persecution under Article 482 and\/or Article 466\nand\/or Article 471 of Law No.\u00a01 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.\nFor context, the three victims were confined for 21 days after being\naccused of stealing printing plates worth IDR 250 million. During their\ncaptivity, the victims were shackled at the feet and denied food for\nthree days.<\/p>",
