The Jakarta city administration is now enforcing its three-in-
\none policy that requires that a car must carry a minimum of three
\npassengers to be able to pass certain streets during certain
\nhours in the morning and afternoon.<\/p>\n
Regarding this policy, I have had a bothersome experience
\ntraveling in Jakarta.<\/p>\n
It is understood that the slow lane in the street going from
\nJl. Gatot Subroto towards Jl. Jend. Sudirman -- or to be exact in
\nthe Semanggi Clover Bridge at the road bend right in front of
\nGKBI building -- has been closed to make it easy for the police
\nto watch vehicles entering Jl. Sudirman.<\/p>\n
As a result, all cars must enter the fast lane in Jl.
\nSudirman.<\/p>\n
I was going to GKBI building but could not enter the building
\nbecause I had to enter the fast lane first before entering the
\nslow lane. The gate of GKBI building lies before the entrance to
\nthe slow lane from the fast lane. Given this condition, I had to
\nenter BRI II building, which is close to GKBI building, before I
\nfinally drove to GKBI building.<\/p>\n
The closure of the way towards the slow lane of Jl. Sudirman
\nhas also led to heavy congestion in the fast lane because all
\ncars have to take this lane.<\/p>\n
Perhaps the police can continue monitoring vehicles entering
\nJl. Sudirman without closing this slow lane from Jl. Gatot
\nSubroto towards Jl. Sudirman.<\/p>\n
