Three-in-one<\/p>\n
The aim of three-in-one system for the restricted area of Jl.
\nGatot Subroto-Sudirman-Thamrin is to reduce traffic congestion on
\nthose roads. In line with this regulation, alternative roads are
\nprovided.<\/p>\n
But the three-in-one regulation that is applied on the road
\nbetween Jl. Dr. Satrio (which is connected to Jl. Casablanca) and
\nJl. Peltu Rakhmat Sidup to enter Jl. Gatot Subroto, is not
\nnecessary. The people using that particular section work in the
\nPatra Jasa building and BBD Bank, next to Lippo Bank and Kartini
\nHall.<\/p>\n
The section is only about 600 meters long and there is hardly
\nany traffic, except when the red lights at the Kuningan-Gatot
\nSubroto intersection are on. Unfortunately, there is no
\nalternative road to reach Patra Jasa building and BBD Bank. So it
\nis quite illogical to include that section in the three-in-one
\nsystem.<\/p>\n
The police use it as an object for earning extra money. Very
\noften the policemen patrol the area to find prey. They are surely
\nnot to blame for patrolling that part of the road. But again
\nincluding it in the three-in-one rule is incomprehensible, and
\neven irritating.<\/p>\n
Why don't they abolish the three-in-one policy for that
\nparticular section? Traffic regulations will remain effective
\nwithout it and road users will not be disturbed.<\/p>\n
