        "content": "<p>The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has stated that a land\nfire covering approximately three hectares in the Sentraland housing\ncomplex area, Gresik Regency, East Java, was successfully extinguished\nby a joint task force.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information, and Communication\nCentre, Abdul Muhari, said in Jakarta on Monday that the fire incident\nspecifically affected vacant land within the housing estate located in\nRandegansari Village, Driyorejo District, on Saturday afternoon around\n1:45 p.m. Western Indonesia Time.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Based on the latest conditions, the fire has been successfully\nextinguished and the situation at the location is under control,\u2019 he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Abdul explained that upon receiving the report of the fire, personnel\nfrom the East Java Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the\nGresik Regency BPBD immediately moved quickly to the location to conduct\nan assessment and carry out firefighting operations together with the\nlocal Fire Department.<\/p>\n<p>Based on preliminary data collection in the field, the BNPB confirmed\nthat there were no fatalities or injuries resulting from the\nthree-hectare land fire.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities, along with relevant officials, are still conducting\nfurther investigations to determine the exact cause that triggered the\nflames on the vacant housing land.<\/p>\n<p>The incident occurred while an Emergency Alert Status for Drought and\nForest and Land Fires is in effect in East Java Province, as stipulated\nin East Java Governor Decree Number 100.3.3.1\/327\/013\/2026.
