The Attorney General\u2019s Office has named three former officials of the\nNational Nutrition Agency (BGN) as suspects in an alleged corruption\ncase concerning the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG)\nprogramme for the 2025\u20132026 period. The three individuals are the former\nHead of BGN, Dadan Hindayana (DH), the former Deputy Head of BGN for\nOrganisational Development and Institutional Support, Lodewyk Pusung\n(LP), and the former Deputy Head of BGN for Nutritional Fulfilment\nOperations, Sony Sonjaya (SS).<\/p>\n
\u201cAfter a series of examinations of Mr DH, Mr SS, and Mr LP as\nwitnesses, and based on sufficient evidence obtained by the\ninvestigative team, the investigators have named all three as suspects,\u201d\nstated Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, Director of Investigation at the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office\u2019s Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes\n(Jampidsus), at the Jampidsus Building in Jakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Regarding the modus operandi, Syarief explained that the BGN\nappointed problematic foundations to serve as partners for the\nNutritional Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG). \u201cThese foundations are\naffiliated with, among others, being owned by Mr DH, Mr SS, and Mr LP,\u201d\nhe said. Furthermore, the three suspects also engaged in unlawful\nprocurement processes for both goods and services within the BGN.<\/p>\n
Following their designation as suspects, the three former BGN\nexecutives will undergo detention for the next 20 days at the Salemba\nDetention Centre, under the jurisdiction of the Attorney General\u2019s\nOffice and the South Jakarta District Attorney\u2019s Office.
