Three foreigners apply to Persijap<\/p>\n
SEMARANG (JP): Three foreign soccer players from Cameroon,
\nBrazil and Liberia have requested to join the Persijap Jepara
\nclub, an official said here on Monday.<\/p>\n
The three players are Simon Atangana (Cameroon), Arliston de
\nOlivera (Brazil) and Jonah Ballah (Liberia).<\/p>\n
Beni Hartono, the club's coach, said on Monday that they are
\nconsidering whether to accept the three players on the team.<\/p>\n
\"I have received the names of the players and the amount of
\ntheir contracts. Whether they are accepted will depend on the
\ndecision of the Persijap Jepara club,\" Beni said.<\/p>\n
Persijap Jepara is one of the clubs competing in the Bank
\nMandiri Indonesian Soccer League 2000\/2001 which resumes in
\nJanuary next year.<\/p>\n
Atangana once played for PSBL Bandar Lampung while Olivera and
\nBallah played for PSIS Semarang.<\/p>\n
Beni said that the club is seriously concentrating on the
\nIndonesian League competitions. \"We are selecting our players,
