Police have arrested three foreign nationals following the production\nof pornographic video in Bali. The three detainees include the\nride-hailing driver actor and the mastermind behind the indecent video\nproduction.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn this case, we have identified three perpetrators. This act was\ncommitted with a modus operandi and motive to profit from pornographic\nvideo and content,\u201d said Badung Police Chief AKBP Joseph Edward Purba\nduring a press conference at his office, as quoted by detikBali on\nTuesday (17 March 2026).<\/p>\n
The three suspects identified are MMZL (a woman from France), NBS (a\nman from Italy), and ERB (a man from France). MMZL and NBS were the\nperformers in the video, whilst ERB served as manager and uploader of\ncontent to adult platforms.<\/p>\n
Police revealed that the use of ride-hailing driver attributes was\npurely to create sensation so their content would spread widely. Suspect\nNBS wore a jacket purchased from a shop for 300,000 rupiah to make the\npublic believe he was an actual ride-hailing driver.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo to attract attention or make it go viral, he used a ride-hailing\njacket. So it was a foreign national from Italy wearing it, not a\nlocal,\u201d explained Joseph.<\/p>\n
The arrest began when the cyber team conducted profiling of a viral\nvideo suspected to have been produced within Badung Police jurisdiction\non Friday (13 March 2026). Police then questioned an actual ride-hailing\ndriver whose services were frequently used by suspect MMZL for\ntransportation whilst in Bali.<\/p>\n
After obtaining the perpetrators\u2019 identities, police coordinated with\nimmigration authorities and detected the whereabouts of MMZL and NBS,\nwho were attempting to flee abroad. Both were secured at I Gusti Ngurah\nRai Airport without resistance, followed by the arrest of the manager\nsuspect ERB at Canggu, North Kuta, Badung, on Monday (16 March).<\/p>\n
\u201cReceiving information that two suspects were about to board a flight\nleaving Bali Province. Subsequently, the suspects were secured and\nbrought to Badung Police Headquarters for further processing,\u201d explained\nJoseph.<\/p>\n
Suspects MMZL and NBS were arrested at I Gusti Ngurah Rai\nInternational Airport whilst attempting to flee to Thailand. Both were\nsuspected of attempting to abscond.<\/p>\n
\u201cTheir plan was to depart for Thailand, but we arrested them at the\nairport. There are indications they intended to flee, which is likely,\u201d\nsaid Head of Airport Immigration Inspection Unit (TPI) Ngurah Rai, Gde\nOki Rizky Aryadhika Heris.<\/p>\n
