        "content": "<p>The Semarang Corruption Court panel of judges has issued an acquittal\nverdict for former Bank Jateng CEO Supriyatno in the alleged corruption\ncase concerning credit for PT Sritex. In addition to Supriyatno, the\npanel also acquitted former Bank BJB CEO Yuddy Renaldi. \u201cWe declare the\ndefendant not proven guilty of the entirety of the prosecutor\u2019s charges.\nWe order the defendant to be immediately released after this verdict is\npronounced,\u201d stated presiding judge Rommel Franciskus Tampubolon during\nthe hearing in Semarang, as reported by Antara on Friday (8\/5\/2026).\nAccording to the judges, the defendant was not proven to have intervened\nto ensure the approval of PT Sritex\u2019s credit application. Furthermore,\nthe defendant was not proven to have pressured the credit analysis team\nin that application. The defendant was not proven to have carried out\ninterventions, and there was no conflict of interest in deciding on PT\nSritex\u2019s credit. The judge stated that the defendant was not proven to\nhave abused authority or position in the credit application. The judge\nstated that PT Sritex\u2019s inability to repay the credit was caused by\nplanned manipulation of financial reports. That condition, said the\njudge, is not the responsibility of the defendant. In the case,\nSupriyatno and Yuddy were demanded 10 years in prison by the public\nprosecutor. Besides those two names, the judge also issued an acquittal\nfor Bank BJB\u2019s Head of Corporate and Commercial Division, Dicky\nSyahbandinata. On the other hand, the Semarang District Court has issued\na guilty verdict against two former Sritex bosses. The judge sentenced\nIwan Setiawan Lukminto (Iwan) to 14 years in prison and Iwan Kurniawan\nLukminto (Wawan) to 12 years in prison.
