        "content": "<p>A violent clash between youth groups from Narasaosina Village and\nWaiburak Village in Adonara Timur District, East Flores Regency, East\nNusa Tenggara (NTT), has resulted in three fatalities. As of Saturday\nafternoon, one victim\u2019s body remained lying on the road as hundreds of\nresidents prevented its evacuation.<\/p>\n<p>Flores Timur Police Deputy Chief, Kompol Ketut Mastina, confirmed\nthat medical personnel and an ambulance were on standby near the body on\nthe Waiburak highway but could not retrieve it due to the large\nconcentration of people. \u201cYes, one victim\u2019s body is still on the road\nand cannot be evacuated because the crowd is still large,\u201d Ketut told\nCNNIndonesia.com.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the deceased have already been claimed by their respective\nparties\u2014one from Narasaosina and one from Waiburak. The remaining body\nis a resident of Narasaosina. Police are currently negotiating with\ncommunity figures and the victim\u2019s family to calm the crowd and allow\nthe evacuation to a health facility in Adonara Timur.<\/p>\n<p>The physical confrontation occurred on Saturday morning around 6:30\na.m. local time. Flores Timur Police Chief AKBP Adhitya Octorio Putra\nstated that the cause of the clash is still under investigation. In\naddition to the three deaths, over a dozen houses were set ablaze during\nthe violence. Additional police personnel have been deployed to secure\nthe area and prevent further clashes.<\/p>",
