        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Beef prices at Tomang Market in West Grogol\nPetamburan, West Jakarta, have reached Rp160,000 per kilogram three days\nbefore Eid, an increase from the previous price of Rp140,000. A trader\nnamed Adi (37) in Jakarta said on Wednesday that the rise has been in\nplace since seven days before Eid. \u201cCurrently, beef prices have hit\nRp160,000 per kilogram. That\u2019s been the case since H-7 Eid,\u201d Adi stated.\nAdi explained that now almost all types of beef cuts are sold at the\nsame price, including thigh to shank portions. \u201cPreviously, it was\nRp140,000 to Rp150,000. Now everything is the same, Rp160,000,\u201d he said.\nHe suspects this is triggered by the high price of beef. \u201cCompared to\nlast year, buyers have slightly decreased. Perhaps because the current\nprices are quite high,\u201d he clarified. He added that last Eid, beef\nprices were still at Rp150,000 per kilogram, which was considered more\naffordable for the public. \u201cIf the price is like that, it\u2019s usually\nbustling, with more buyers,\u201d he said. Nevertheless, he assured that beef\nsupply remains secure without any issues. \u201cI get supply from the Cakung\nAnimal Slaughterhouse (RPH) managed by Perumda Dharma Jaya, owned by the\nDKI Jakarta Provincial Government,\u201d he stated. He also predicted a surge\nin buyers from two days to one day before Eid. Although, according to\nAdi, it won\u2019t be as crowded as in previous years. The selling price\nconditions for beef are also experienced by other sellers, such as Risky\n(35) and Tomi (40).<\/p>",
