Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Domestic commodity exports will be\nconducted through a single channel via PT Danantara Sumber Daya\nIndonesia (DSI), with full implementation set to commence on 1 January\n2027.<\/p>\n
Economic Coordination Minister Airlangga Hartarto outlined that the\ninitial commodities under this scheme are coal, palm oil, and ferro\nalloy. Implementation will begin on 1 June 2026 as a transitional phase,\nduring which exporters must report their activities through DSI, with\ncustoms handling the reporting via a portal system.<\/p>\n
Airlangga stated during a press conference in Jakarta on Sunday (31\nMay 2026) that a three-month evaluation period will follow the initial\nphase, with full implementation taking effect from 1 January 2027. He\nemphasised that the phased approach ensures business certainty and\nallows stakeholders time to adjust.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe process provides sufficient time for entrepreneurs, exporters,\nand relevant parties to adapt to this policy,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Dony Oskaria, Chief Operating Officer of Badan Pengelola Investasi\n(BPI) Danantara, affirmed that DSI operations will be transparent. \u201cWe\ndon\u2019t want any ill-intentioned management that merely shifts problems\naround,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
