        "content": "<p>Thousands of residents filled Jalan Surapati, in the Civic Centre\narea of the Jembrana Regent\u2019s Office, on Saturday (7\/3\/2026). They were\nenthusiastic to watch the Ogoh-Ogoh Parade for Early Childhood Education\n(PAUD) across Jembrana Regency, attended by 29 contingents with a total\nof 50 mini ogoh-ogoh. Pantauan detikBali, until 18:00 WITA, parents of\nparticipants and members of the public were still packed at the event\nsite. They watched performances by PAUD children displaying mini\nogoh-ogoh with various creations. In addition to featuring mini\nbaleganjur gamelan and short dance fragments aligned with each theme,\nseveral contingents also used other traditional musical instruments such\nas kul-kul to accompany the ogoh-ogoh being carried. The organising\ncommittee chair, A.A.B. Hendra Sugihantara Putra, said this year\u2019s\nparade carried the theme \u201cATMA KERTHI: Sowing Cultural Seeds, Reaping a\nWise Generation.\u201d The theme emphasises the importance of togetherness\namong family, school, and community in preserving Balinese culture.\n\u201cThis year there are 29 contingents with a total of 50 mini ogoh-ogoh.\nThe parade route starts from the western side of Pura Jagadnata, passes\nby the Civic Centre, and ends in front of the Jembrana Regent\u2019s Office,\u201d\nHendra told detikBali on Saturday. The committee also applied a scoring\nsystem based on the neatness of the line, independence, collaboration,\ntimeliness, and partnerships between schools and parents. Moreover, all\nparticipants were urged to bring their own tumbler or drinking bottle as\na reflection of support for the policy to reduce single-use plastic\nwaste. \u201cWe hope this event can continue to develop as an annual agenda.\nOur love for Balinese culture should be introduced from an early age,\u201d\nHendra concluded.
