        "content": "<p>Think of the people's needs<\/p>\n<p>From Pikiran Rakyat<\/p>\n<p>After the increase in fuel prices, I have been questioning<br>\nwhat are our legislatures in the House of Representatives (DPR)<br>\nmean by \"... for the sake of people\", when speaking to the media.<br>\nWhich people?<\/p>\n<p>The aspiration of the people has not heeded by members of the<br>\nDPR. Earning sufficient income, they are not really affected by<br>\nthe fuel hike. But, people who are not as affluent, like those<br>\nliving in the outskirts of the city or villages, the fuel price<br>\nhike is an additional burden.<\/p>\n<p>The savings from the reduced fuel subsidy, if enjoyed directly<br>\nby the people, will be more beneficial and meaningful. It would<br>\nbe even more so if the funds were allocated for education and<br>\nhealth care. This has even been reported in the media.<\/p>\n<p>BUDI<\/p>\n<p>Bandung<\/p>",
