Apple emphasises\nthat the presence of this Developer Institute is a continuation of the\npreviously established Apple Developer Academy in Indonesia. The opening\nof the Apple Developer Academy in Indonesia represents a commitment from\nthe iPhone manufacturer to meet the local content requirements for 4G\ndevices sold in Indonesia. Instead of fulfilling the TKDN requirement by\nbuilding factories, Apple has chosen to meet the investment criteria\nthrough the establishment of training centres. The Ministry of Industry\n(Kemenperin) requires all 4G products sold in Indonesia to have 40%\nTKDN. Apple itself has designed the five institutes with different\nfocuses to address the needs of digital talent in various sectors. Developer Operations (Tangerang) This\neight-month programme is held with S-Quantum Engine from the Sinarmas\nGroup. The curriculum covers cloud app launches, container-based system\nmanagement, and large-scale implementations. 3. Game Development (Batam)\nThis one-year programme is with Infinite Learning. The first six months\nfocus on 2D and 3D game development, followed by market testing stages,\npublication strategies, and industry exhibitions. 4.
