        "content": "<p>Theo, alleged victims fail to show up<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The former chairman of the Investment Coordinating<br>\nBoard (BKPM), Theo Toemion, and two of his alleged assault<br>\nvictims failed to appear at city police headquarters on Monday<br>\nfor questioning.<\/p>\n<p>City police spokesman Sr. Comr. Tjiptono said none of the<br>\nthree provided the police with an explanation for their failure<br>\nto answer the summons.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;This is just the first summon. We will invite them again and<br>\nwe hope they can come sometime this week,&quot; said Tjiptono.<\/p>\n<p>Police summoned Theo and two foreigners, identified as CR and<br>\nDM, to shed light on an alleged assault at the Jakarta<br>\nInternational School (JIS) in South Jakarta on April 17.<\/p>\n<p>Theo allegedly slapped CR, a 14-year-old boy who refereed a<br>\nbasketball game in which Theo&apos;s youngest son participated. DM was<br>\nthe coordinator for the basketball game.<\/p>\n<p>Police have so far questioned a U.S. citizen, identified as<br>\nTR, who said he saw Theo assault the boy on April 17.<\/p>\n<p>Officers also have questioned Second Brig. Sofyan, a member of<br>\nthe city police&apos;s vital objects protection unit, Riyo Santoso,<br>\nthe head of security at JIS, and two security guards at the<br>\nschool, Tatang and Junaedy.
