        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 The movements of four men suspected of being involved in an\nacid attack against Andrie Yunus, Vice Coordinator of KontraS, have been\ncaptured by 86 CCTV cameras.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 2,610 video recordings with a combined duration of 10,320\nminutes documented the movements of the suspected perpetrators.<\/p>\n<p>Based on the CCTV recordings, the suspects were first seen gathering\nin front of Gambir Station in Central Jakarta, having arrived from the\ndirection of South Jakarta on Thursday afternoon, 12 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The Director of General Criminal Investigation at Metro Jaya Police,\nBrigadier Iman Imanudin, stated that the suspects had circled around the\nNational Monument (Monas) area before heading towards the YLBHI\noffice.<\/p>\n<p>At that location, they allegedly waited for Andrie to leave after\nattending an event in the evening.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on analysis of CCTV recordings from several points in the\nJakarta area, the suspected perpetrators tracked the victim\u2019s movements\nfrom before the incident occurred,\u201d Iman told journalists at Metro Jaya\nPolice Headquarters on Monday, 16 March 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, the suspects followed Andrie as he moved towards the\nCikini petrol station to refuel. At that point, Andrie drove around\nBorobudur Street, then turned right onto Proklamasi Street.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of taking the left route on Pegangsaan Barat Street, Andrie\nchose the right route on Pegangsaan Timur Street to reach the petrol\nstation.<\/p>\n<p>While Andrie was refuelling, the suspected perpetrators appeared to\nbe waiting at a fast-food restaurant located approximately one building\naway from the petrol station.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAllegedly, four suspected perpetrators using two motorcycles waited\nfor the victim in front of the KFC at Cikini,\u201d Iman explained.<\/p>\n<p>After finishing refuelling, Andrie continued his journey and passed\nby the YLBHI office again. His movements were then followed by the\nperpetrators.<\/p>\n<p>Once Andrie pulled over, the perpetrators immediately fled. The\ncontainer used to carry the liquid was found not far from the incident\nlocation, along with a helmet allegedly belonging to one of the\nperpetrators.<\/p>\n<p>The CCTV footage subsequently showed that the two motorcycles of the\nperpetrators separated in different directions. One motorcycle turned\ntowards the Senen area via Kramat Raya Street.<\/p>",
