Since May last year the<br>\ngovernment has issued four such packages.<\/p>\n<p>Deregulation has apparently become a part of the government's<br>\npolicies that is difficult to avoid, especially in the light of<br>\nthe global drift towards fiercer competition in the non-oil<br>\nsector, where our exports have shown a declining trend.<\/p>\n<p>But deregulation should not merely be a tool for anticipating<br>\nthe increasing risks which foreign investors must face.
